Insulating Monolithic joints are part of the Cathodic Protection system applied to pipes to protect them from corrosion.
As it is known, corrosion causes serious problems in installations such as loss of fluid, possible contamination or even the suspension of services.
It is used for electrical sectioning and passive protection of pipes. The seals are installed at the outlet of wells, in collectors, at crossings, at plant or tank entrances, scraper shuttles, pumping or pressure reduction stations, etc.
They are absolutely necessary to separate the different operators, whether they belong to the gas, oil or water sectors.
